Christmas shopping in Bergen - before the snow came ...
PS In case you read the post below about Blogger and jpgs: I now use a LightRoom plug-in called Magic Export that allows export of PNG-files that are not changed by Blooger - yet. However, I may change to WordPress sometime in the future.

Flott komponert og med tydelige kontraster. Et utmerket bidrag til temaet B&W!
Og ja, - herlig! Glemte nesten det i farta... (smiLER)
Like most men, he is walking past looking straight ahead - we don't do shopping.
(Glad you found a solution!)
What a tempting shop !
I'm always shocked to see that in Scandinavian countries , women leave babies outside ! Nobody would do that here..
All these latest images would be great in b/w. Nice.
Thanks for the look inside :) Glad you sound a solution, at least for now. WordPress is popular here but one of my friends thinks it's more difficult to use. She does alright, though, I must say!
Glad you solved the problem, although I don't understand a thing you are explaining! The shop you photographed looks like it has an eclectic inventory.
I'm feeling better about the baby! :o))
Marvelous B&W capture for the day, Rune!! I'm glad you found an answer to your Blogger problems!! I surely do wish that I could!! They are driving me crazy -- even though I didn't have far to go anyway!!! Hope you have a great weekend!
This photo is wonderful! I will investigate "Magic Lantern." ;)
Skikkelig eksotisk by!
Magic Lantern -- will check this out. Always find black and white photos intriguing. -- barbara
Härligt gatufoto med många detaljer :)

Capturing the essence of a winter night.
Detaljer fra en shoppingtur.... Lekkert ;)
:)
Good composition!
Flott bilde!
Så det er eit generelt problem at bildene vert endra av blogger? Eg har mange gongar sitte og irritert meg over at bildene ser annleis ut etter at dei er lasta opp, men har tenkt at det er måten eller programmet eg redigerer dei i som er problemet...
I like this so much. Doesn't look too crowded either which is the only way I can stand shopping.
This a good example of my favorite types of photography. Street, black and white, night. Great shot!
you captured the man in the right spot. :) Love it! And now I have to see what you wrote about blogger and jpg. :)
Another beauty. I love the way the interior seems to glow in the dark.
Very effective shot.
A bit different to Christmas shopping madness here! I am glad you found a solution for your technical issues.
Läcker bild!
Anna
You change to whatever you like as long as you keep publishing your wonderful photos.
Great perspective! Great shot!
It is nice to shop for Christmas. Wonderful shot.
Great street scene with wonderful light!
Be sure to let me know if you change,
as I want to continue to follow you.
I made the switch to WordPress some years back and it took me a long time to figure it out. I am old and maybe dense too, but it isn't like Blogger. You have to accept the differences and go with them.

You can change anything on the site by picking and choosing which widget to add to the one theme you pick out and you can change the theme every time you see one you like better. All of it at no cost.
I forgot to say that I like your black and white shot. I also got the new camera yesterday and it took me an hour, with some help, to get the camera strap on. LOL
great scene - am going to consider using pngs instead of jpgs - my software supports them though not as default.
I'll join those who like the black and white. For me it's a play against all the color (garish? overly jazzy?) we normally associate with the season. Am I going too far to say the B&W actually adds a little dignity to the scene?
Great street photo! I saw Abraham Lincoln's comment - I switched from blogger to wordpress many years ago and I am very happy with wordpress.
Beautiful!
Oh, that's beautiful! I visited Bergen many years ago and loved it. I remember many lovely shops by the harbour; several, I think sold lace?
Lovely photo. Great contrast, and so much to see.
Det ser ut att krylla av saker inne i affären. Fin skärpa! :)
Great shot! Wonderful light!
