In the beginning of August we had a festival for veteran ships in Bergen called "Fjordsteam". It wasn't too easy to get a proper shot of individual ships since they were moored almost on top of each other, so I tried to concentrate on details. This is a shot through the porthole of the pantry of the sloop "Mathilde".
Have a nice Week-End!

And a terrific shot it is, Rune!! I love the reflection and the coffee drinker! Hope you have a great weekend! Enjoy!
A detail, but so much to see inside of it!As a french writer said it, "God is in details"!:o)
lovely patina
Herlig!
Flott sett og meget godt "brukt" i komposisjonen!
Brilliant idea! When life hands you lemonade, photograph portholes!
Wow! Gorgeous shot! Ciao from Italy
The more you look, the more you see. Love it.
A lovely cameo!!
The porthole makes for a good portrait. I suppose that if we care about the guy as an individual, we'd want more clarity on him and less clutter. But as some coffee drinker in the rough context and clutter of a ship, this seems really good to me. Also, maybe I'd like any color to frame everything, but that green seems especially appropriate for some reason.
It's so beautiful....
It looks like a painting!!!
I love the days when all you can get is details.
Utrolig stilig fanget, Rune!
Neat shot my friend,
One never knows what one will find through a porthole. There is a wealth of information in this splendid photo, RuneE.
Kjempetøft!!!! den perfekte innramming, og `gamlinger` he he `skal? jo være i noe rundt eller ovalt har jeg sett :-)
Bare digger den lekre blågrønne fargen å, dååån rett og slett!!
Love the composition. It tells a beautiful story.
Oh my goodness, the ships really were moored on top of each other. Kudos to you for taking this great shot!
Is that an egg whisk I see? Makes me hungry looking through the porthole into the cosy pantry beyond!
Beautiful photo, with atmosphere and the texture and colours too.
