We have had a period of exceptionally fine autumn weather, though now it seems to have come to an end. This was shot last Sunday, not so very far from the town centre.
Yes, all the bad weather is tracking to the south of you - guess how I know. But we don't really have much in the way of autumn colours like your photo.
The perfect picture of autumn, Rune!! I love the golden tree, the sunlight through the leaves the shadows on the sidewalk! Such a gorgeous capture for the day! Hope you have a great weekend!
Great composed, Rune, I love the way everything (the light, the curve of the road and the direction which the two people with bikes walk and look) lead to the right and the fine autumn colors and -light.
It's not often it strikes me that any of your photos could have been taken here too - but this is a familiar scene, a familiar atmosphere. For all its simplicity, one can sit and look into it too.
Rune, I abolutely loved the shot you did Saturday of the chestnut tree. The contrast of the red car was a nice touch too. I hate the thought of chestnut trees being cut down. I hate cutting down any trees for that matter. I have a thing about beautiful trees and it would be a particularly bad thing to cut down this particularly lovely one.
I love the gorgeous autumn colors that are depicted in these last two pictures. Fall is such a beautiful time of the year. We don't really experience this remarkable change where we live and it is too bad since I love the fall colors so much. But, I can't have everything when we live in the desert and I do feel so much better in this climate.l We have been here for 22 years now, the longest either of us have lived in one place, so it really feels like home to us. We even have purchased our cemetery plot so we will be here forever. (Yes, only one plot as we will both be buried in the same one. We kind of liked that idea.

Ser at høsten har tatt tak i byen. Nydelige farger som dessverre varer så altfor kort. Trille syklene i nedoverbakke? Ja, hvorfor ikke :)
Ønsker deg en finfin helg!
Irene
The colors are beautiful and the wall leads your eye along the sidewalk. Nice view!
Serenity. I'd love to be walking near that street today.
Here it is 34 C.

Høsten sniker seg over oss med spennende, sterke farger. Flott presentert av deg!
Ha en super fredda'!

Beautiful autumn colors are the only thing that keeps the edge off approaching winter! Lovely scene.

super moody colours
RuneE -- Lovely fall landscape -- reminds me of the 1500s painter Pieter Bruegel in feeling. -- barbara
I love the warmth in this photo.
You are a splendid artist!
Ahhhhh, autumn, one of nature's finest raptures!
I love to stand in the sun on fall days, taking in the last rays of warmth.
Flott bilde! Jeg likte den muren på bildet også!
God helg!
Beautiful light here!

Looks as if you have hills as well as foliage. I miss hills. But at this time of year, the trees take care of it.
A wonderful capture - lovely rich autumnal colours.
Beautiful colours my friend.
All I can say is - had a blogging break, but now back in Harness, and reviving my blog.

The yellow glow looks nice, autumnal colours will never lose their attraction, won't they?
