No, I don't feel as bad as this old shoe I found by the waterside, practically in the water. In fact, things are looking up, and all I need now is getting back into better shape than the old shoe ...

An interesting find amongst the rocks. Once step at a time, my friend!
One wonders where the other shoe is? lol.
Gently does it my friend.
It's seen better times.
Oh, I do SO relate, Rune!! And what an interesting old shoe! Be interesting to hear his story! Great shot for the day. I'm so glad things are looking up for you and I'm sure it won't take long for you to back in shape. Have a great week ahead!

Once it was a star and lived a life.Where did it go wrong????
I too am glad that things are looking up. Notice the light on the heel that is still in good shape? I imagine you felt like the toe for awhile, so I hope that you are heading toward the heel.
What a strange find! why do people lose shoes? why do they usually lose only ONE?!..
I'm glad that you could see La vie en rose -the movie itself as well as life during the movie! :o)
Take a good care of you!
Anneklem.
Ah, but Rune, this is surely Peer Gynt's shoe (you know that i love Ibsen and, in an oddly coincidental manner, footwear).
I love this photo. There's something about it that speaks to me...the sheen...the movement of the water...the warm color of the shoe that is in the rock. I don't know what it is....so many things, but I love this. You are a talented man....Thank you for sharing with us.
I hope that you are feeling better. I thank God for the medical milestones we have seen through the years. Take care of you....
Smiles,
Jackie
Gorgeous shot. I wish you all the better.
Good Life!
Glad you are feeling better. Getting back in shape after being down is a chore. The best to you in accomplishing it.
hahaha, for sure you have a talent of finding the most unusual things :)). glad to hear you are getting better! >:D<
Selv bilder av søppel bri bra her!

It makes for a lot of questions, RuneE. Did the guy step out of his shoes and drop in the water? Or was it just washed to that spot after a heavy rain.
Not sure you are even aware of some of the things I have done, but if you take the time to go to

you can see a kind of history in the right sidebar.
So glad to get this update, Rune...best wishes continue to go out to you.
Så stilig bilde! Lekkert rett og slett.
Here's hoping for a quick experience in getting back to normal so you can do the things you love.
When you feel that things are looking up, I guess you're at least half-way through ;-) Take care
"Hey!! It's my shoe!!!" Hahahaha..
Neida....
Nydelig bilde Rune! :)
not a good shoe for winter.
I'm glad you're feeling better. Hopefully the slowly growing daylight adds to your improving health.
why does this scare me? Too good
Glad you are feeling better. Your camera can make trash look good!
You will get there, RuneE. Besides, that shoe doesn't look so bad to me. I think somebody threw it out too soon.
Ha!
you ARE getting poetic now, aren't you? :-)
i love this shot.
thank you for another good one.

Flott fanget ! Ha en fin dag ! :0)
Very nice photo composition.
I am so glad that you posted this, Rune. I have been very concerned about how you were doing and have been looking every other day to see if you have posted about your health. I have just about recovered from bronchitis myself. It isn't nearly as bad a pneumonia, like you had, but can be pretty miserable. I do hope that from now on you just continue to improve.
Sometimes I feel like that shoe, but with this new year dawning and much to look forward to, I'm certain both of us will be walking a little more to loosen up those muscles. Taking it easy while getting back in shape is the best method.
Love the snow photo up top. Just got a little dump two days ago preceeded by mostly rain. Weird weather we're having.
