Do you think a Cave-man would appreciate such an
Urban Skyline?

Or would all the
Urban Hubba-Bubba, people - not to mention the police - be too much for him?

Though there are
Urban places where he might meet an old friend.

I feel like a modern version of a cave dweller. I would be impressed by the view of the city from a distance, terrified by the noise and chaos of the streets and gain a little respite by concentrating on looking at something still.
That's a worryingly busy museum though. I might not last there long either!

Hihi...
Whatever the caveman would think, it's a great place for photos, but then, he didn't have a camera. Hope to be there in May.
A building would be a hard mountain to climb,a city would be a stone forest to get lost, every stranger a possible ennemy, "the old friend"(that he could never meet)some bones left by someone who finished eating the beast. He would be probably mad because of the noise and the movement..BUT he would surely adapt very quickly! we did! :)
Urban life is the only life
Great cityscapes.
Hmm I think I would not have problem to adapt to this urban life! :)
Amazing idea, your pictures are wonderful!
Léia :)
Good thoughts of "U"! Make me think of the picture that I took for the cityscape of shanghai and the dinosaur at Taipei Natural Museum. Not mention the picture Grace took of Paris police in full riot gear. Do all city look alike now?
Fine bilder derfra!
What a different look at our world today! Really interesting perspective and you've done that so very well with your terrific captures! A very talented gentleman you are, Rune! Enjoy!

Shrimp.... mmmmmmmm. Shrimp!
Oh dear. That's probably not the bit that was supposed to stand out. :)
Nice to visit but I don't think I'd like to live there. Great images, love that top one.
Good urban life which we have just got so used to now!! Sure to love rural too!!
Great choice for U day!!
This is a great slant on the word URBAN. Love the shot of NY and the dinosaurs.
I'm an urban creature, but your cave dweller might well be overwhelmed.
Nice sequence of shots.

I like it! Lovely juxtaposition.
I think a caveman would feel very confused in an urban setting!
I think that Bubba Gump might win him over!
Interesting story of the caveman and the urban dweller. I am a village dweller and I feel a bit uneasy in Rotterdam, which is crowded and there is a lot of traffic. Rotterdam is a real metropolis and I don't like it.
Thank you for your visit and comment.
Flott bildeserie fra et spennende sted!
Hubba Bubba...?
Big bubbles - no trouble...for the Caveman!!
Ser han går i "Forrest Gump" land...
Utterly great U blog!
Your photos are stunning!

Great urban shots and perfect for the letter U. Fun post.
Love your urban shots!!
U is for...
Unique idea for this week. I must admit, though, that I prefer the SUB-Urban. :)
Very neat post and great pics Rune, my friend.
Yippee I'm back in the land of Blggers, my friend.
Wonderful. I felt much like a caveman, myself, on my visit to that uber city!
Wonderful to look from a-far - once I was a City Girl, bur now I would find the noise and chaos unbearable. I'm with the caveman....
All that would make some interesting cave paintings. I love big cities, but given a choice of having only city or only country I would probably go for living in the country. If there are enough books.
Even the urban setting feels like an archaeological dig
Love the cityscapes. From afar. Nice choice for U.
Urban! Funny how certain words would never occur to me to use. Urban, I think would be one of them which seems pretty obvious since many of us live in an urban setting! great choice!
That's a great skyline shot. I got a good one too of Panama City. I may just post it since friends are asking for more of our trip. A blessed Christmas to you Rune!
Tack för besöket på mitt inlägg 'T is for Temptation'.
