Love your photos -- which isn't unusual, but particularly these today because I love Greece and Crete and wish I could go back and visit again! The blue gate is lovely, but the other two are my favorites! Enjoy the rest of your week, Rune!
Wow. How pretty. Those are some very gorgeous gates. I love these images. As always, it is a treat to come to visit you on Wednesday. An absolute treat!
I should keep these gateways in mind for when I next add to my collection of gateways in my paintings. Trouble is I have so many picture I want to do.... These are very attractive and intriguing. I always want to know what's behind them.
Interesting look at who can afford what. The photos are very nice of the three gates. I just realized they are all set in stone walls. It is a nice post. I enjoyed my look and visit.
I wanted to thank you for visiting one of my blogs and for the comment you made about the ambient lighting on the mellow wood of another time, in Bear's Mill. I did respond there to your comment with the following comment...
"Inside old buildings is a challenge sometimes and the Canon digital camera I use is pretty good about capturing what is there. As you noted, ambient light makes the perspective seem more alive and it helps if the focus is right too."

Nei, styrt på jobb, treg i dag ja, huff.
Klem i farta
Liker forresten veldig godt tittelbildet ditt!
I love Crete, lovely island, nice climate and wonderful people.
Graceful gates.
Nydelige bilder:)
Ha en fin dag:)
Berit.
Great Greek gates! I like them all! Thanks for your visit to my Gouda! Have a great day!
I like all these gates, Rune. They all have character and a sense of history behind them.
All of them are inviting, as well for the feet as for imagination..
I like the blue one very much, maybe because we can only guess what's behind...
PS: I hope you don't think that all people living in Nice are millionaires.. you should be highly disappointed! :)
Great shots. Very lovely and unique gates.
RuneE, such lovely photographs u have shared with us :) very nice captures..!

These Greek Gates are great. I love the variety and the old stone is gorgeous.
Beautiful. The first one is my favourite, it's like a magical garden is hiding behind it.
I love the peak behind the open door.
LOVELY.
I SHOULD note that you ABCW link points to your F post, not your G one.
On behalf of the ABC Wednesday team, thank you! - ROG
Veldig fine porter. :)
Love your pictures, and I love Greece!
Interesting collection. I like the blue ones.

Great gates! They're all wonderful but I like the first one best, with the top that opens.

What glorious gates! I love them all! Colorful, robust and decidedly glamorous.
Such beauty! These are all breathtaking! Your images are such nice invitations to go through those gates to what lies beyond.

Beautiful gates! My own is sagging and needs to be replaced.

What beautiful gateways my friend.

I'm drooling at these beautiful gateways... The mistery they evoke!
Kisses from Nydia.
I love photographing doorways and these are good. The composition and angle of the door in the first photo is outstanding
