Summer evenings in Norway have a special warm light that is well suited for many subjects, including flowers. This evening I found that our white lilac had a visitor (actually two...). I have a feeling that it is some kind of grasshopper, but is it? And what is it doing?

Tror det er det ja. En svær en? Den koser seg i kveldssola, tror jeg, det gjør den jammen rett i også.
Flott macro.
Beautiful!
Great macro my friend.
Sure beats a lilac in your grasshopper.
Cheers!
I love love this! Fantastic photography. Come visit when you have a chance. Would love to know what you think of my pretty pics.
Definitely some grasshopper cousin. I got some great bug shots on our camping trip. I think you inspired me to try macros.
wonderful shot! you still have the lilac in bloom?
Dette var et detaljerikt og nydelig bilde! Riktig god helg Rune :)
Great Heading photo
:)
Beautiful...and does it sound too weird to say that the white lilac flowers remind me a little of popcorn. :)
Let's see if this third try to comment will work without receiving a 404 error. What is the dotted line coming from this creepy creature's front leg? An excellent shot of a not favorite subject.
Lynn - that is my second question :-)
I really don't know.
This is a weird and wonderful photo!
What IS he doing??
Lilacs in July? With or without bugs, Wow!
