I had intended to visit the Arboretum and Botanical Garden here in Bergen to try to get some pictures of flowers. They have a nice selection of flowers, bushes and trees from all over the world spread over a large area and accessible to one and all. However, today I'll present the most original bench I have ever seen (bench defined as a place seating more than two people). On the first picture one seat is obvious, but have a look below:
No problem seating two - maybe three people. And it is comfortable. I've tried.

Tree-mendous Rune.
Nice one.
You wanna see my benches ??.lol.
Hmm, har du begynt med benchmarking, Rune???
:-)
What a neat find! Doesn't look comfortable but good for a rest when one is tired, I suppose. . . Just where did you find this? Does the carving represent something? In a way it looks like an Indian with a papoose on her back . . .
Unique bench indeed? But for 3 people? It looks like it'd be good for 3 children maybe. ;-) But hey! It's hard to tell how big it actually is.
Hi Rune! Amazing bench! Comfortable? OK, I trust you... ;)
Loved the unplugged sky... ;)
Now, one week working without coming here and you don’t even remember that
Blogtrotter still exists. But it’s there, even if India 2008 has come to an end… ;)). Have a great weekend!
Is this a new feature of yours Rune? Bench of the week?
Take a seat. A free one at that. Neat idea.
Fantastic capture Rune.. I just love the time effort and thought that as gone into this. I think the second shot resembles a torso, it really is a great bench.
Thank you for all your visits, and thanks for taking the time to comment also my friend, I am so glad to have you visiting.
Tom
Yes, that's wonderful, a nice highback bench, quite ingenious!
It perfectly suits to the definition of a bench, it's made by man's hand, there's nothing to say!I would classify it in the "wild" benches :-))
Will you give us a "bench of the week " every week? In this case, I'm impatient to see what you'll find!
Have a good week-end!
Nice one, maybe there will come leaves on it when spring is there.
Kreativt!
Now that is a really neat bench.
I would like a softer seat.
Denne stolen/benken omfavner sine besøkende. ;) Morsomt bilde! :)
There's something about these photos that make me wince. Poor tree! I hope it didn't hurt too much!
This is a good way to use a tree, and to have a personal recommendation of the photographer of its being comfortable is surely a bonus.
