So it may be something like this one - an old gravel road leading into the mountains surrounding Bergen
Or it may be a more modern edition, with a dual carriageway. Luckily on a Sunday morning in November.
It may lead into a tunnel,
It may lead onto a bridge,
It may lead into a tunnel,
It may lead onto a bridge,
Or it might lead to a one hour queue outside one of the oldest cities in the UK on the hottest day in a hundred years...

I like the first road. Whenever I see a road like that I wonder where it goes.

That road in your first photo looks a little tight for a car, but it is definitely intriguing to see where it leads.

Nice selection of roads, but my favourite is the first photo. A peaceful getaway from civilization as we know it.
Road is a good choice. Nice variety. I grew up on a "dirt" road even here in Florida (we have a lot of dirt roads still today when you get away from the cities). Anything not on the "dirt" roads were called "hard" roads. Dirt and hard. Not paved. Just hard. :)
Guess I always look for the road least traveled, Rune. That first one suits me fine. :)

From the path to the motorway, on bridges or through tunnels...a great selection of your favorite subjects with various angles of view!
And I remember what you told about the number of tunnels in Norway!!!!

Når det gjelder fossen, så har jeg dusinvis av bilder fra siden. No er fossen nesten fryst, men jeg kan se om jeg finnet et som er sånn nogen lunde brukbart. Til sommeren skal jeg prøve etter slik du sa;)
Her var det mange fine vei bilder for R, men det var vel det først som gikk rett hjem hos meg.
Ja det kan du si Rune. Det er ikke noe fiks fakseri med bilde. Det er en refleksjon fra et lyskilt på veggen som er fanget med en 50mm på blender f/1.8 og med iso 1600.
Når vi gikk tilbake til bilen på kvelden etter den runden på operahuset så fikk jeg se denne refleksonen i pytten på fortauet. Det er vel Thon Hotell som de andre på bildene. Hvis jeg ikke tar feil så heter det Thon hotel Munch.

Paved roads are not so attractive to me, especially when there is heavy traffic. Good post though! I like the way you told it!
