I was out strolling today. In the back of my mind the letter Q was a passenger - in the vain hope that a bright thought might occur. Nothing happened until I suddenly heard: "Quack-quack"
No problem.

Quacks Nos. 1 & 2

Today's post is part of the the third round of ABC Wednesday. The founder,
Denise Nesbitt, has changed the rules to make the system more practical. There is now a
no-comment blog where you can post a copy or short version of your post with a link-back to your original post for the full version and comments. Scanning through this no-comment blog will give you lots of
Quaint Qs. She has also set up a
site where you can log on via Mr. Linky if you want to do that.

Q is also for "Quasar" - our new dog (pics on my blog).
:-)
hi Runee,
i love this well made Quaks , so cristal clear as you only can mmake my compliments, What happened with mr linky? (its gone)
Mine is here: www.joannwalraven.blogspot.com
Ducks to your rescue, RuneE!
Beautiful ones. Do they really say quack in Norwegian too? :)
I don't know how you do it! But every time I visit your blog your photos are getting even more beautiful, which is almost impossible. I love your Quacks and they look exactly like ours. Thank you for visiting. I am going to answer commenters on my blog in future too.
That water is fabulous! Such a gorgeous reflection.
It drove me quackers to get here. Mr linky is taking everyone to the P . post. The ducks are crystal clear and the water has a beautiful sheen.
Quite quaint quackers. Great post Runee.
The colors on these "quackers" are beautiful! So pretty! An amusing post but effective for the ABC Wednesday!
They are just beautiful and beautifully photographed with the light on the water and the colors of the ducks.
Now, what does a Norweigan duck say? Quakk, quakk?
BTW - a phd & a wonderful photographer - so accomplished!
You have some colourful quackers there; nice shots.
Så fine biler. Jeg likte at det nesten føltes som om det var bevegelse i vannet omkring dem. Flott levert. Ha en fin dag:)
The male drake certainly doesn't have to QUACK too loudly to get any attention.
He is stunning.
Bear((( )))
Queer sound! In French,our ducks say:"Coin! Coin!"(For "C"post !)
Gorgeous colours and reflections !
"Quaint" sound was that I meant, of course!
Beautiful, clear, colourful photos. What a great idea you had.
Thanks for your comment.
Very clever fellows -- you and the ducks! Lovely photos as well.
Happy Wedneday!
...just don't QUACK up on us, Runee!
Oh, beautiful ducks!!
Det første bilde synes jeg er skikkelig fint. Jeg var en tur langs Storetveitvannet her en søndag og tok noen bilder av de fuglene som var der. Men fikk ikke til noe så fint som dette.
:-)
Flotte bilder som vanlig fra deg Rune.Nydelige fugler også:o)
Beautiful ducks! I have got to get out on more walks to see "ours." Trying to feel better after being sick with a 24 hour bug I guess. I have never thrown up so much in my life! lol Just what you wanted to hear.
Regarding moon shots . . . are you using a flash? Mine turn out all blurry if I don't use the flash. On my camera, it slows down the shot and sometimes the moon has gone behind another cloud and all I have left is a black sky! I think it is a full moon tonight. . . try again.
Will they stay during the winter too? Love the green colors in the head!
Wow - the Mallards that we have around here leave for the winter. Very interesting!
quaking great!
Very nice to see Mallards in your part of the world.
