Hello Rune Nice to see the geese on the move.. this week I say House Martins a month earlier in the year than normal.. Looks like we have both been bird as well as Sky watching.
Thank you again for joining in with the fun of Sky Watch Tom
Beautiful picture.
Nice photo, but much more interesting is it that in the "fight for being early" you have manipulated the date to May 3rd. That is the consequences of mr Linky You get your comments posted before 10pm thursday :-) But you are alone. at friday 815 am I am no 76 :)))
Isn't it great that the geese are flying NORTH and now we'll have a few months of beautiful weather? The geese have all arrived her too but are flying in pairs, getting ready for their parental responsibilities. ;-)
We have wild geese flying over our house a couple of times a year...they are heading for a local resovoir. As you know we have our own goose and he always calls back to them as they fly over. I wonder what he shouts to them....."Up the road and turn left?" LOL!
I've only seen one formation of geese going north. But at night we hear them across the road. They are using us as a hotel for the night before they get to Canada. But my nesting pair should be here real soon!
I was trying to avoid this Friday's heavy traffic, but since you won't probably post during the weekend, let me just say that the bird formation is great! Also loved the (half-)Kilo post and the beautiful picture of the Nykirken! Thanks for your nice comments at Blogtrotter. Have a great week! Gil
