We have heard much lately about the tragic collapse of a bridge in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. We have quite lot of bridges in Norway too, and it would be only natural if we wondered a bit about the state of our own bridges. The one shown here (and which I have shown many times before - just have a look around) is called Sotrabroen (the Sotra bridge) and connects the island of Lille-Sotra with Bergen. It was opened in 1971. I use at least a couple of times each day, so I really hope they look after it.
Which they seem to be doing, at the moment at least.
