Recharging

I'm just back from a trip to Kalives on the Greek island of Crete. Excellent place to stay if you prefer the sound of rolling waves to discos.

Such a beautiful place! I spent a vacation on Crete some years ago and I loved it! Thanks for the memories, Rune!! And, yes, I do prefer the sound of rolling waves to disco!! Hope you have a great new week!!

Somehow I didn't think that was Norway!

I am sure you had a lovely time in the warmth of Crete.

A beautiful and peaceful place to recharge - sun, water and a little shade if needed!

Great photo! I would love to be sitting on that bench, doing nothing but gazing out to sea.

I've seen your comments on several blogs I follow and I came over to look at yours. I like it and now I'm following.

Definitely my kind of place, it's lovely. There's a family story that my grandfather is from Crete, but I've never been able to prove it.

That definitely sounds like my kind of place ... such a peaceful photo.

That would be my preference! There's a really nice spareness and balance in this photo, Rune, and I bet that would carry it in black and white. But the color adds a nice richness to the minimalist form.

How peaceful that looks. Gorgeous!

Flot billede!!!

If I ever get lucky enough to go over to Crete, I will remember your recommendation and these two pictures.
