Nostalgia

One of the family's absolute youngest generation was expected to our modest summer cottage for a stay of some days. That led to a search for suitable items for a boy aged 20 months. And what could be better that his uncle's old cars? Even grandfathers got some nostalgic feelings.

I can just imagine your nostalgic feelings, Rune, and I'm sure that fun was had by all!! Great capture for the day!!

When I was a young boy, I had quite the collection of these and I played with them for hours.

I wish I knew where my little cars have gone!

Herlig!

How beautiful it is that you still have these cars. It is amazing that they have already survived lots of little hands...

I guess there are things we just have to discard as we move from place to place, but I could make a list of things I wish I still had. You were smart to keep these, Rune.

Boys with toys, a life long love story, especially when toys are cars.. :o)

I used to have a lot of toy cars - nowadays vintage toys in good condition command outstanding prices in auctions but we didn't think about that.

WOW, dette er jo samlerobjekter jo!
Flotte bilder og stilig fotografert!

(Men, 20mnd? Tror det står "over 36 mnd" på originaleskene....)

I think all of us can relate to when we used to play with these, and earlier ones - like Corgi.

What I want to know is did that young boy get to play with the cars ... or did the "big boys" become so nostalgic that they took over playing with them? ;-)))

He will love driving them...and so will you :)

He he Ja, tidlig krøkes osv...
