Light and Lines 2

A January without snow, but the low light makes for other possibilities in photography.

This is my contribution to:  «The Weekend in B & W»
Have a nice Week-End!

Spennende linjer i bildet ditt, Rune. Og ikke minst lys! Snøfri januar, men du har sol og dermed skygger å "leke" deg med! Her går alt i ett, vanskelig å finne kontraster som interesserer. Mr. Canon får virkelig slappe av, hehe

God hælj!

Such a strange world with these merging lines...an escape hatch for the walking figure.

Very interesting composition. There is a lot to draw the eye to the figure, especially the lines of the path to the left and the balconies to the right.

Using the winter's low light has made a fantastic photo of patterns for your black and white -- barbara

I like black and white but seldom do it, si I do appreciate it when we'll done. Your photo is a good example.

Wow,- her var det mye interessant for øyet,- flott komposisjon og spennende linjer og skygger skapt av den lave solen.... Perfekt for B&W! Sol vet jeg forresten snart ikke hva er,- som Irene sier, her går alt i ett!
Ha en alle tiders helg, Rune:)

Something simple can be turned into something wonderful…if one has the eyes to see it! Great image.

Linjene i bildet og de lange skyggene gjør dette til et spennende bilde. Liker det jeg ser :)

I enjoy your B&W shots. This is a fine one.

Bare tree, haloed man and his shadow are the rounded things against and outnumbered by--you said it--light and lines, with a lot of metal and stone. Another winner, Rune.

I see we've both been experimenting with low-angled light and modern architecture.

I like this - very moody and atmospheric. It reminds me of the 70s somehow.
