Snow before Spring

We have had an exceptionally dry and cold winter - hardly any snow worth mentioning in our area. But on the last day of March we got all of 2cm ...

But it gave me an opportunity to take a photo of falling snow.

Falling snow is fun to "freeze" with the camera. Glad you got your chance before it is too late.

I think the north of the UK got your snow.

A wonderful, snowy capture, Rune1 Glad you had a chance to get this shot! We surely had a milder than usual winter and a very early spring this year, but in a way, I missed the snow!! We weren't, however, missing any gray and grumpy skies!! We had enough of them to share!! Hope your week is going well! Enjoy!!

On Tv , I've seen snow in England , Warsaw, and many other northern european countries at the end of march; It seems that M. Winter wants to stay a little more before leaving us for a year!

Your photo has a beautiful mystical quality. Personally I love the snow but that is because I can select not to drive in it -- as opposed to when I had to before retiring. -- barbara

Beautiful falling snow...
Something I don't get to see, so I'm thankful for your photos.

We've had only a bit of snow but we've had bitter cold winds. Keep well.

Sounds like our Winter, we had a lot of storms that dropped 2-5cm, mostly a nuisance.

Such lovely trees.

We, too, had a burst of snow a couple of weeks ago which has melted with warmer temperatures and rain.

We got quite a bit this year - I love that cold, frosty feeling in this shot.

Boy that is a classic example of pruning to maintain a shape. Looks like a full grown spruce tree trunk?
