London is an international city. People from all over the world come to London. These have obviously come from Hollywood.
There are lots of things to do. For instance you can visit Madame Tussauds and look at some of the Live models.
If you are on a Bargain Hunt, you can visit places like this and for instance get a yellow bicycle,
or a couple of hundred old sewing machines.
But whatever you do, don't try to climb the wall of the Russian Embassy - even an old leaf can't get over.
And there is always a friendly pub where you can relax when your legs get too tired.
Have a nice Week-End!

Heisann! Ja, dette var flotte miljøbilder fra Metropolen. Likte spesielt godt bildet av lønnebladet som ikke kom seg over gjerdet :-)
Riktig god helg!
Ha, not the usual tourist photos.
I'm surprised the Russian guards let you take a picture even of the fence (and leaf!).
Have fun!
Your excellent photos took me on a beautiful tour.
Hahah! I'm back to London thanks to you!!
You made fantastic photos!
If I had known that you were about to fly there, I would have left a sign somewhere for you! :o)
The arrival upon Thames in the previous post is fantastic!
Please post more!
I love your post for the day and I love your humor even more, Rune!! I do love to start my day with a good laugh -- today I got several great laughs!! Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Enjoy!! And have a Guinness for me!!
Wished you had said you were coming to London my friend.
What great finds you captured tho, and a pint too.Slurp
Thanks for sharing these, they are pretty interesting. The top of the wall it pretty nasty looking and I love the rows of sewing machines in mono.
Excellent photos. My favourites are the one of the leaf by the of the Russian Embassy and the one of the old sewing machines.
love the roving gnomes..!
Flere overrasknde og kreative glimt og detaljer fra storbyen London ;-)
Det var vist en god tur du havde derover!
Your London photos are superb. Liked them all, laughed at your Hollywood visitors, enjoyed every stop on your tour! barbara
We saw gnomes in a window at Lincoln Castle.
A delightful tour of London with sights not seen in the tourist magazines!
Herlig bildeserie.
Lite vinterlige forhold i London. Regner med kofferten er full på tilbaketuren...
Ha en flott lørdag!
I'll start with the pub and see where it takes me.
This is a treasure trove of pictures! You have such a great eye and sense of composition. Isn't it inspiring to go somewhere other than home where vision seems to sharpen? Everything is new and different, challenging and fun to edit and select.
The Russian Embassy fence is like something out of Star Wars. Great shot!
That yellow leaf is great contrasting with those spikes (am glad you didn't get arrested!).
There has been a case recently with two Czech tourists who were imprisoned abroad for taking pictures of an army building - be careful when you're taking photos of an Embassy!
Just kidding (I hope), I love the photo with the leaf.
A very whimsical tour of London - thank you!
Nice. The leaf is my favorite. I'd say more, but you've reminded me to pour a Guinness.
RuneE, you capture the soul of London so wonderfully in your photos. Excellent.
gosh you're only an hour away from me (okay by plane that is). I can tell you're still enjoying yourself big time. Love the leaf....I would give it a go though just to beat the leaf.
Hugs Dagmar
Such unique and creative photos of London! Glad you are enjoying your visit to the UK - neckst time come up to Durham! :)
You are obviously enjoying a nice little vacation in London. I missed your last three blogs and won't try to go back and write on them individually but let me tell you, I did enjoy all of the pictures. I especially enjoy all the ones that most tourists would never even think of photographing. You do seem to get some interesting ones. I do love all of your photos, Rune, and I'm so glad that you take so many random shots. Since I have never been to Europe, I especially enjoy seeing the sights through your lens. Who, for instance, would take a picture of a bunch of old sewing machines? Not many, I would guess, but it was very intersting and I would have loved being where you took that one, because I'll bet there was a lot more to see. How I wish we had travelled more when I was young.
The photo of the yellow leaf - I like it a lot.
Happy December! :)
The things we see but usually fail to photograph. Thanks for this set.
What a fabulous set of photographs - I love this post! It was great see London through your eyes.
