October Photoshoot

A couple of days ago a friend and I went for photoshoot in a valley an hours drive east of Bergen. The fairly low sun and the very nice  weather made for great opportunities. Here are three of the photos I got:

An island in the autumn sun :-)

A small waterfall (probably much reduced due to nearby hydroelectric power stations)

And of course the compulsory mirror-like lake.

Have a nice week-end!

Were you the only ones there??
I would drive much more than one hour to see such beauty.

The waterfall looks light as a feather.

Thank you Rune, for sharing this beauty ! Perfect reflections and as always full of the right atmosphere. I hear the music of Grieg accompanying your photos.

stunning as always. What is that small cabin above the waterfall?

Stunning scenery - and stunning photos. Being able to live and be in such an environment must provide plenty of peace of mind and energy to both body and soul!

Flotte høstbilder ... blir litt misunnelig over å se sol og flotte høstfarger. Høstfarger har jeg, men ut med kamera i regnværet frister ikke. Digger bildet av fossen, syns du har fått bevegelsen i vannet så fint frem.

Nyt helgen, Rune!

Flott høststemning du formidler her. Ja, om en har anledning, så er det bare å komme seg ut på tur når været er så flott som her - og det er jo slett ikke alltid tilfelle på denne siden av fjellene.

I particularly love the first one the light is so beautiful and the reflections are like upturned volcanoes.

WOW, such splendor! I especially like that last one, mirror lake. The first one reminds me of a painting that I copied.

Excellent photo of the reflection, RuneE. Autumn is a time of year where I tend to reflect on the year's passing.

I missed a good opportunity on Monday to take a photo of a park in full colour, as today had rain and wind.

These are breathtaking lovely, Rune. I am just overwhelmed when I see how clear your photos are and the reflection in the water amazes me. I am so glad you have let me see so many parts of your beautiful country.

UNBELIEVEABALE!!!!!!!

You really know what to do with water and reflections, Rune. I think the night shot is my favorite.
