Out of the Fog

Fog in the morning is a natural part of spring on the coast of Norway. This makes for very nice opportunities for budding photographers when it lifts. And then for ships to find their way along our fjords.

Ephemeral moment , between time when there's fog and time when it's gone..At this special moment, Time is like the bridge on your pic, between two worlds, for a short while.
You caught it perfectly.

Haha, you are way past the budding stage, as this photo proves.

Do those ships go through the fjords sounding their fog horn?

I saw this bridge when I was in your Norway. I don't like fog. It's very dangerous.
Wish you a nice Sunday without fog.

Beautiful! With the ship having safely traversed through the thickest part of the fog and now safely on its way.

Thank you for what you said about what happened in France. It took me a long time to decide If I would write about it or not , and I finally decided not to speak about it ,as it was too hard and I could not find the right words. Usa are also going through hard times of the same kind. Our world is getting mad.

Vakkert!

Helgen har vært fantastisk, så langt. Dagen i dag er grå, men den blir nok bra, uansett.
Det er jo ikke et vindpust ute...

God søndag, Rune!

You have a clear view - I'm wondering how far people on the boat can see.

Amazing how it seems to clear from both sides revealing both the water below and mountains above. Makes me remember a similiar lifting fog at Lake Tekapo in New Zealand 11 years ago now.

Very nice. Reminds me of San Francisco (a typical American comment?).

I wonder if pilots every become at ease with fog. Do you know?

I like how the ship is just visible. For is like snow, no two times are the same.

Beautiful vista! Here the fog slowly lifts. Your fog seems to melt into the fjord.

Oh, Rune, this is incredible: a great compositions with the added touch of mystery. Would make a great opening shot in some nouveau film noir thriller.

Fly flate Rune, dette var et utrolig flott bilde! Det hadde vært flott bare med tåken også, men med båten ble det jo bare den berømmelig prikken.

Tåka har vi sett mye til her i vinter, men ikke så vakkert som dette.
