Into the clouds ...

Today was a day when only photobloggers and the occasional tourist ventured to the top of one of our local mountains, Fløyen.

What wonderful, foggy captures, Rune!! I love how you've caught people in colorful jackets that are the perfect accent for the GRAY!! Our days are gray lately -- but not this gray! I'll remember this the next time I start to complain about our "gray weather"! Hope you see some sun soon! Have a great week!

Wonderful view - reminds me of our visit to Ulriken although it wasn't quite as foggy as this.

Great use of color, RuneE. Almost makes me want to be there, even in rain--and fog is always nice. Of the two, I might favor the blue umbrella, though I'm not sure why. Maybe red seems a more predictable choice against grey, and I like the additional elements--trees, etc.--in the first shot. Or maybe it's just that I saw the blue first?

Beautiful ... with just that one touch of color to add cheer to a drab day.

Great eye, I love the colors popping out of the fog.

Vakkert! :)

Fin uke til deg! :)

What a brave, dedicated chap you are to venture into the gloom just for our entertainment and enlightenment! It was worth it though. Thank you.

Yes, who would venture into the fog with a camera? You, of course! Thanks for the visual treats of color in the mist...such fun juxtapositions.

Huuuummm! I'd like to be under that blue umbrella!
Beautyful spots of colors among this so unusual fog (for me: fog is a thing we NEVER have here!)
this first shot would be worth being a poster on a wall, I could dream a long time looking at it..

I thought I couldn't like the first one better - until I came to the second. Since then, I've been going back and forth between them.

Nice use of the two colors that make the two black and white photos fascinating...

How I love that blue umberella in that grey grey mist. I can really relate to the gal in the red jacket too, in the other picture. We used to live up in the mountains in Frazier Park and our house was right at the end of the street on a fairly large mountain. We had a glorious view of the town below and normally an all around beautiful mountain view. Once in a while we would find ourselves in a very heavy fog and I used to walk outside and try to see something below and it was a strange feeling to just stare into nothingness, like the girl you captured in this great pic. I really loved them both and the one striking color contrast in each was simply beautiful!! You do continue to amaze me, Rune.
