Yes, I can see and feel the wind and the cold in your photos. I understand about almost not needing monochrome on days like these.
Breathtakingly beautiful...

I like the comment 'Almost unnecessary to convert to monochrome' - yes, a frequent occurrence in Winter. I like that unusual structure in the bottom photo.

Just looking at the photos makes me shiver. I won't tell you that it was 16C with sunshine and blue skies; but that was yesterday ... today ... not so much :-)

Her var det nesten b/w uten å gjøre noe, ja!
Tøft bilde!
Ha ei flott uke, RuneE!

Hum, it sounds delicious and so attractive to me! :o))
No matter the color, I still like Norway. And I imagine the fire in the chimney, the hot chocolate, while bad weather is knocking at the door..

Ooh, that makes me feel cold! I've just seen a documentary about polar bears, I suppose to them, this water would feel quite warm! :)

Choppy seas, and gorgeous almost spooky shots

I hate CAPTCHAS!!! I can never read the damn things. I let anyone comment on my blog (like you), no verification of any kind. Why make it hard to comment? But blogger has really blown it with this.

I remember those grey winter days...Minnesota and Iowa have many of those. However, they have no wonderful seascapes like these...

Klem.

I usually don't mind the cold, but the wind I can live without!

Hard to imagine those photos could occur in summer . . .

By the way, I dropped WV several months ago, and so far no problems, knowk wood.

Bleak and beautiful - but don't expect your work to be snapped up by the Norwegian Tourist Board!

Sorry you had to go out in such weather to get these amazing shots. I hope you didn't have to go very far away from your home to take THESE pictures. I actually can't understand how you and all those Scandinavians can manage to live comfortably in the winter months. I get cold just looking at this choppy water! If I lived there, I would surely have to hibernate inside all winter and drink lots of hot chocolate or peppermint tea. That would be brutal for me because I do so love being outdoors. I am so captivated by all the "Visual Norway" scenes though, that if I had the health and the opportunity, I would surely try to take a trip to Norway and Sweden. But I hasten to add, I would have to do it in the summer! In the meantime, I will just have to enjoy the scenery just looking at your wonderful photography. Thanks Rune, I think I love you.

Oh but it does look cold!! Yet there is a beauty to a windswept and deserted scene that appeals to me emotionally, but not physically. Our days in Norway were precious and memorable.

It looks like the "smell-of spring-weather" has blown down to us in Denmark, we have around 10 dgr. C today :-)
PS: I love your windows - and your comment to "word verificication from hell" - in the previous posts!
