Old friends - on a bench

It is still January, but there was something in the air today. The thermometer showed -1 C, but it may have been these nice ladies - two old friends enjoying the view of the entrance to Bergen harbour from a neatly placed bench, that told me that there might be spring sometime this year too.

Nice photo - of a nice view. I hope you enjoyed it too. And that you are feeling all right now? I send you many thoughts and my best wishes.

Too cold here to sit out like that. For me, anyway. I did get out my older Sigma 70mm lens and took a few shots through the window. I haven't downloaded them yet. In the camera they seemed rich in color.

Minus one, wow, we still haven't had that this winter, but I can imagine.
I like to imagine sitting on that bench over Bergen harbor, too.
Spring will come sooner or later.

Great shot - I think we've probably got a snowy cold month to come before spring arrives but ...

Isn't this what good friends do, enjoy each others company. What's a little cold air between friends?

I love the emotion of this photo. I can just imagine them laughing and having a good time.

Great place for a bench! BUT don't rush Spring yet. I am still hoping for more snow instead of this rain we have been getting.

Beautiful scenery these friends are taking in. I hope they had a lovely day.
I hope that you are feeling better. Continue to take care of you.
Smiles and hugs,

Nice shot, RuneE--full of sunny optimism and good feelings. Also, I like that they're not dead center in the photo.

I figured you always had snow on the ground there!

With views like that, spring cannot be far away!

Oh, when you mentioned the temperature, I had to look again. Since I can't even imagine myself going out in that kind of weather, it is hard to think of anyone just going out to sit on a bench and view the beautiful scenery. They REALLY must have been good friends. That being said, I think the picture is just gorgeous! The scenery there is just breathtaking and you do such a great job capturing it all!

Herlig stemning du viser her, Rune. Litt tidlig (i alle fall her)å få vårfornemmelser.
