The official name of these visual beauties are Amanita muscaria. I found them this morning while out walking, and I couldn't resist the temptation of taking a few photos. However, I didn't pick them since they are NOT recommended for eating. BTW, this is supposed to be the "grown-up" version. I thought I might start with a photo from a somewhat unusual angle.

Flott bildeserie, - intens i fargene og med flotte mønster!
Og så var vel vikingene glad i fluesoppene...?
Ha en fortsatt fin kveld!
These are fantastic pics of the mushrooms, the colours are great as they almost look surreal. (I expected a wee frog or pixie to be leaping out ...)
Rune, have you been having a conversation with a caterpillar lately?
Hope your knees didnt hurt my friend, lol.
Real great shots, but your 1st is first class.
No matter how you look at it, you got some great photos!
These are pretty amazing, I really like the perspective in the first shot. Nature never ceases to amaze me with colors and textures.
The colors are wonderful, the closeup photos really nice. The mushroom looks rather deadly. I would not be the one to try it sauteed with eggs.
Glad you did not pick them up, they are usually fairies and goblins homes!
I love your first shot, I'm just trying to imagine HOW you did to take that picture...Ü
Det var jo rene ufoen jo. Flott vinkel og flotte farger i alle bildene.
Så flotte bilder.Det første var en innertier.
Ha en fin kveld:)
Wow!!! Wanderful colours !!!!
Very nice shot!
Ciao.
It sure is lots of them this year. Great colors.
They are so beautiful. I like fungi but can't find any such beautiful color one here.
Oi!! :))
This post really belongs more in a fairytale book!
Den er et vakkert fotoobjekt denne soppen! Flotte bilder!
First image deserves a prize!
That first picture of the toadstool looks gargantuan! I noticed a tiny, tiny bug on the stem, too. The perspective is delightful.
These mushrooms are really beautiful in color, they offer a great contrast. The first photo is my favorite - a fine piece of art in itself!
Rune, these are great shots, but all I can think of is how perfect they are for people to create fairytales about elves living beneath them.
