The Library - A Place for Reflections

The Bergen Public Library (Bergen Offentlige Bibliotek) has recently been extended and modernized. Now you can reflect there even more.

A perfect way to attract light. All kinds of lights...

Good photo. The people in front add a lot to it as well.

Ah, THE place for Knowledge, great for reflections - as you say my friend.
I agree also that the mother and child do add a lot to this shot, knowledge from Mum to child....

A nice shot that captures the desire to learn...

It looks like it's a neat combination of old-world and modern construction. The stonework is beautiful and the glass is edgy.

A visual metaphor, a metonymy, where the size of collective knowledge dwarfs the knowledge of any one individual.

There are reflections and there are reflections ... and this library is great for both :-)

Nice word play, RuneE. I like libraries, but to me, the two humans in the foreground bring the shot to life.

Indeed, a great place for mental and visual reflections!

love the colors and the mom daughter just makes it

I love the message here about reflections in both senses - and with future generations in the foreground.

For noen blinkskudd under her!

Hm.. ganske tragisk egentlig..

Akkurat like etter midnatt.. :)

Gode høstdager ønskes deg dermed!

A double reflection is what I like, because it's important to look in the mirror of one's life every now and then. Life goes very fast, there are new events every day and they are hardly amusing.
Well I wish you a good rest of the week.

I saw the photo of the glacier disappearing. It's such a pity. This happens also in New Zealand and it goes very fast. Such a shame.

Great reflection and the people add interest to the photo. Sorry if I commented twice on the photo below. OOPS. :)
