Random Spring Shots (Version 2)

One of "my flowers went missing". I have replaced it.

Spring is the time for work out of doors, and for once one just have to tolerate that some of the neighbours can get a bit noisy in their activities.

The weather changes for the better, and all the white stuff I could find this Easter was stuck to the fence.

In Norway the daffodil is known as the Easter Lily (Påskelilje). For once the name suited the occasion.

Other flowers also appear. I think these are some sort of sort of perennials.

This little white flower is one of the most popular spring flowers in Norway. We call it "Hvitveis". Wikipedia tells me that it is known as wood anemone, windflower, thimbleweed and smell fox. Make your own choice.

And of course, a sunset can be beautiful at any time of the year.

Nice Spring photos. The hvitveis looks very similar to the flower from a dogwood tree. I like the woodpecker, I can never seem to get close enough to photograph one.

Fabulous rank! My favorite is the one with the wool on the fence, a little detail that tells a lot to me..
Happy Easter!

The sunset shot is lovely but the bird is my favourite - love how you've captured the texture of the tree.

All the signs of spring arriving give one such hope. No surprise that Christianity chose spring for its resurrection story.

Your spring flowers are beautiful and the bird is not one I have seen before. Behind him is the bluest sky I have ever seen. I'm glad that spring has come to Norway. You are hardy folk there.

The woodpecker looks as if it is daunted by the idea of a long climb ahead.

Virkelig flott bildeserie,

So much detail in your photographs, Rune...camera envy here :) Glad spring has finally arrived for you...I choose windflower for the wood anenome.

Fascinating that you attended Diana's funeral...I've visited her memorial in Hyde Park...the run of water so peaceful.

Excellent shots, as usual, but the woodpecker on birch is special.
