Foggy fjord

You seldom meet a photographer who isn't interested in the effects of fog. It often both hides and reveals - it hides distracting features and it reveals simple structures. It creates a very special light that is very intriguing to work with and also an atmosphere that is unequalled to any I know.

In this case it is a bank of fog that is lifting. The sun is about to break through in just a few minutes, but the three buoys is still all that can be clearly seen.

I don't like to drive through fog, but I enjoy using it as a tool for photography. You have done well, I like the subtle reflections on the buoys and water.

Strangely - am looking out on fog right now - it is cold! Wonder if it is the same fog? lol! Keep warm.

My little automatic camera picks up amazing fog effects...sometimes. So mysterious, looking at things in a different light.

I like this very much! I'm a big fan of photos with fog but I rarely ever see fog around here. :(

I wish we had more fog around here. The effects are wonderful and is that fresh unfrozen water I see?

Strangely enough I like foggy photos very much. It's kind of mysterious and it makes me wonder what's behind the curtain.
So Your photo is just what you said: It hides and reveals.
