Blogger's Block and a Buoy

I have had this Blog for about five years, and now I find that I have not made a post for several weeks. Am I suffering from "Blogger's Block"? According to The Urban Dictionary, Blogger's Block can be defined as:
Inability to think of anything to Blog about.
Since I write very little in these posts, it can't be that. Sometimes it is just that one has other things to do, no photos that must be shown :-) etc etc. Lets face it: Blogging takes a lot of time and sometimes one has to reassess one's priorities. That does not mean that I will stop blogging, but that I (for a while at least) will just post the odd photo I like and skip the memes, themes and such things.

The first break in the block is a buoy I found "floating" in the ice last Sunday.

Five years! Just think how many hours went into five years of posts.
Sure, give yourself a break. Just as long as we do not lose you altogether, Rune.
May your newly freed up time and freedom from deadlines buoy up your whole mood.

Trivelig å se innlegg fra deg igjen!
Ha en fin dag!

Like you, I am cutting right back, maybe one photo a week, too many other things to do and I'm not really sure I see the point of blooging. I guess it's all a personal thing.

I've been wondering where you were. I assumed the previous title "Going Fishing" was a clue, but I thought that meant you were traveling to exotic places. Sometimes I do get blogger's block, but right now I have the opposite problem, too many images I want to post. Welcome back - you were missed.

Lynnwiles wrote almost word by word what I wanted to tell you! I was thinking you were gone on holidays and were going to come back with greek or US pictures..
This winter has been very long, and maybe spring will bring you back more inspiration..Every little piece of Norway is an enchantment for me, especially through your lens. So, yes, you'll be missed when away, and happily welcomed when blogging back! But most of all, enjoy your time!

Vakkert bilde Rune.
Berit.

Der er jeg også, Rune. Ikke noen temablogging for meg, med mindre mitt oddebilde tilfeldigvis passer inn i noe slikt. Du har vært kjempeflink i temaene du da.

Håper du har det bra.

Love the shot Rune, and I know just what you mean about blogging, other things have to take priority over blogging, and these memes take so much time.

Yes I know just what you mean - do cut back to blogging when and as you feel like it - it seems like a chore at times and as long as you don't disappear altogether it'll be good to see you just from time to time.

Ja blogging turns in and out here, for min del også..

Ha en fin kveld og uke! :)

Well, I missed you and am glad you came back in time for our little snowfall finally! When all it did was rain, I had nothing to take photos of either. . .

I enjoyed your buoy photo. . . still some snow and ice on the waters. Great contrasts make for a beautiful picture!

I can totally understand. Blogging is a lot of work and, thanks to social networking, etc., we're all weary from information overload and keeping up...

Good to give yourself a few breaks...five years is a big investment...hope you received returns worthy of your time and talent

Congrats on blogging for five years! It does take up a lot of time doesn't it? I do have to limit myself how much I do with challenges, memes etc. Glad you're back anyway, I love your images, these are super with that wonderful splash of orange amid the snow.

When I first looked at your post I thought that was a big candy apple on a stick.

We all need to take a little break occasionally, but I would hate to see you give it up. I enjoy your photos and comments very much. You have a very nice blog.

Glad to see you back. I was concerned. I'm about the same, but keeping up at a rate of about three a week and searching back into the files to catch up on my "daily" photo blog as weather, health, and general busyness have kept the camera idle lately. Spring will be welcome.

From time to time you must have a break. I try not to stop but it's sometimes difficult to find a subject for a post. I always enjoy seeing and reading your posts, so I hope you are not leaving all together.
