The snow boat

Boating is a summer hobby in Norway.

This is my contribution to James at Newtown Area Photo's meme called Weekend Reflections. Post a reflection during the week-end, log on to MckLinky via his site - and you're on.

Great catch! Thanks for the snow. . . BTW, the newscaster said tonight we can expect snow next Wednesday so I am hoping so as it is my birthday! What a great present that would be!

This is good proof why boating is a summer hobby.
Great picture, with little flecks of red.

Mmm, sitter her med dagens første kaffekopp. Og den der minner meg om en marsipankake...!

I don't know if i's a solace, but as it's raining here since about a mont, boating is no more a winter hobby here too!
at least, you have a beautyful snow and a pure water to admire...

Foretrekker også båt best om sommeren, men det var et lekkert motiv der den ligger pakket inn i snøen. Stille vann og nydelige kontraster.

God helg Rune :)

The water is such a clear deep sapphire and that boat was captured at just the right moment. Excellent!

A great shot, the boat looks a bit lonely.

may be a summer hobby; but it makes a very nice subject for a winter photo

It has a very 'soft' look!

The boat looks as though it is all snuggled down in its own little cocoon! A great shot!

Jolie composition, couleurs très belles. Mieux vaut effectivement attendre l'été

No ice though? I like how it is covered in snow and then all the blue water around.

Imagine a drunk stowaway, falls asleep at the end of autumn, finds himself in a white frozen tomb.

The snow boat would be a slow boat today! The vessel is an island unto itself!

We brought our boat in from the dock months ago. The owner of this one had better do the same soon!

Wonful cold composition, Rune! I love that color of the water - and the mirror-effect.
