From the windows of my mind

From the outside looking out.

From the outside looking in - and back again.

From the outside - just looking.

From the outside looking at it all.

A is for Antennas

A tall and slender antenna demands a tall and slender photo :-)
Only, there are many other antennas here: Two radar domes, various mobile phone antennas and a number of other devices which I don't have a clue as to what are.

Today's post is an entry in round SEVEN (Congratulations Denise!) of ABC Wednesday, the meme initiated by Denise Nesbitt. For more, you can log on via the ABC site.

Y is for Yet another Yellow Yawl(?)

Yes, I know I have used Yellow before.
Yes, I know many others will use Yellow this time around too.
Yes, I know that Yawl is stretching the definition a bit (but Dictionary.com says:

A ship's small boat, crewed by rowers.)
But what is a "Youngster" to do? Spin a Yarn?
I'll throw in a white "Yawl" For good measure.

BTW, we have now arrived at what is charitably known as summer around here. That implies that I'll be a bit here, there and everywhere doing a bit of this and that. What I'll be doing less of, is blogging. So:

Have a nice summer!!!

A NYC Viking

A real New York Viking attending the Norwegian-American parade in Brooklyn, celebrating the Norwegian National Day.

The server that stores my pictures is temporarily down, so I have had to use alternative systems for my latest photos. I'm sorry.

A grasshopper in my lilac?

Summer evenings in Norway have a special warm light that is well suited for many subjects, including flowers. This evening I found that our white lilac had a visitor (actually two...). I have a feeling that it is some kind of grasshopper, but is it? And what is it doing?
