Reflective slush

Those of you who read yesterday's post will know that winter came to Bergen exceptionally early this year. However - there are always some reflections to be found.

This is my contribution to James at Newtown Area Photo's meme called Weekend Reflections. Post a reflection during the week-end, log on to MckLinky via his site - and you're on.

Slush, it looks so cool, wet, inviting!
(I'm so tired of hot blue skies day after day.)
Cool air and snow is so invigorating.

Well, your early winter has at least one utility : giving good subjects for pictures!

We had heavy hailstones the other day and it has gone very cold - you can keep this stuff your side of the North Sea for me - great reflection though.

We'll hope this is just a freakish early storm and not the true "beginning" of winter just yet. But, this slush gave you a great find for today's meme! I like how the street leads the eye through the neighborhood...just like it is supposed to do! =)

Well, it's great slush and a great capture for the day as always, Rune! Have to admit that I'm glad it's there and not here! It's grumpy and gray here, but not snowing! Have a great weekend!

ah, really it's snowing already in your place ... we only experience snow in a human-made machine with little styro balls coming out of it...

Take care.. have a great weekend.

Thanks for another glimpse of your snow. Ü Our nights have been very cold and Mt. Hood in Oregon finally got some new snow last night but none for us so far. . . so I will enjoy yours until we get our own.

Well Malyss is right your wet and early snowfall leaves beautiful opportunities for reflections. Here the sun was shining all day, though it was cold.

You got sime great shots of your early winter! I love the view of the water, bridge and snow covered mountains. As for that Ford, the real money goes for restoring the chrome.

Det var rask retur til Norge?! Og jeg som håpet å få følge med deg på reisen i USA.. ;)

Her har du ihvertfall kommet tilbake til ordentlig vinterføre, slaps og glatt føre! Flotte bilder under her også! Snø er fint, men ikke når det blir slaps ut av den.. Her har det snødd bittelitt bare, men forsvant med sola igjen.. :) God helg til deg!

Hi Rune! Snow already? This climate has gone crazy, definitely... ;)

Sorry for the absence: out one week, busy on return and then caught by the flu... ;)
Blogtrotter Two is still in Algiers... Enjoy and have a great weekend!

PS: Your header is fabulous also!!

I like white snow, but slush, no thank you. I remember February in Canada. there were dirty wet slush every where, and water seeps into my boots.

Oh my goodness! We had snow too...but it melted as soon as the sun hit it! October is way too early I think. :)
