O they do go in for ornate things in Greek churches.

These chandeliers are magnificent, although I don't envy the person who has to clean this lamp. Therefore I have very simple lampshades in my house! ;)

God helg Rune

I have never seen a crystal chandelier in a church before. Interesting.

Nydeleg!

What a wonderful object. I'm glad it's in black & white, I think color may have distracted one from it's intricate beauty.

You have such an eye for architecture...even if it's the architecture of a chandelier. Elegance in symmetry.

Stilig vinkel, Rune!!
Snyggt i svartvitt också :)

Ha en fin lördag!

Thank You, I have posted Carl Sagan accompanied by Pink Floyd for others to see as well. Thank You for the encouragement, dear neighbor :-D

Welcome back Rune - I've missed your photos.
I love the way you've taken this. A most unusual angle for a chandelier. It makes a great pattern.

It seems you have been away a long time! This is such a great black and white, so symmetrical and composed beautifully. What a photogenic church this must be!

John McDevitt said...

Great shot. The pattern is beautiful, the tones and textures just so. I can picture you flat on your back on the floor to get this angle.

Wow!
Great capture and the pattern looks so good in b&w

Amazing. Love the details here! :)

Fantastic! Thanks for looking up!

Reminds me of the childs toy with the tumbling pieces of glass. I think the chandelier is much enhanced by the cornices on the ceiling. Nice shooting to get this just so.

Virkelig bra!

Brings to mind the mandala of the Hindus and the Buddhists.
