Reflections of New York from New Jersey

We have just returned from USA (see my former post). While we were there we stayed in an apartment at the 44th floor of this glass tower in Jersey City. The apartment was rented from NYC-JC, a Scandinavian owned company that provides apartments in Jersey City for longer or shorter periods. Highly recommended.

And as you can see it is a fine place for getting photos of reflections.

You get Manhattan both directly and in reflection -

wherever you look (these photos were obviously shot through the windows of the apartment).

This is my contribution to James at Newtown Area Photo's meme called Weekend Reflections. Post a reflection during the week-end, log on to MckLinky via his site - and you're on.

With reflections or not, the pictures are so great! I dream to fly to New-york one day, and the views you offers us today won't change anything to that, except maybe that now I want to go even more!I hope you'll post plenty of pictures !
Can non-norvegian people rent places in that building? (In case of ..Ü)

Great fun looking at New York through your eyes and camera! Not the look I usually get from my usual room at the Middletowne!

What a surprise! Not Norway! Lucky you, it's been too long since I've been to NYC. Your photos are fantastic as usual, the second one is breathtaking.

What amazing photos! When we were in New York, we met some folks from New Jersey--they told us sometimes people who look across at New York never ever visit there...

Beautifully caught. Breathtaking!

Gleder meg stort til mer her faktisk, flere bilder.

Your last shot is wonderful! I didn't realize at first that I was looking at BOTH a building AND its reflection.

I went to NY a few times, the last time was 15 years ago with the family. I wasn't into blogging then, so I didn't take many photos. (Of course, there was no blogging then, was there?)

Like your photos. Are there many high scrapers in Norway?
