I is for Ice

There are colours in the ice - if you look for them.

There are patterns in the ice - if you look for them.

There is life in the ice - if you look for it.

Wonderful post for the I day, Rune! I particularly love the last shot! And yes, there is beauty even in ice when you take the time to really look and observe -- which you do beautifully! Hope your week is going well so far! Enjoy!

Those colours are truly incredible. Frozen water is just spectacular though your lens.

The last one is magnificent. I almost went for Icy something on HDP until inspiration inspired something imaginative at the last moment.

Hei igjen.

There is beauty everywhere- if you look for it! Ice is such an interesting phenomenon. The first photo looks like a modern painting with all those beautiful colours.
Thanks for sharing. Thanks for your visit and kind comment.

Veldig vakkert innlegg! :)

Dette skulle jeg likt og fotografert selv! :))

Looks like some oil got mixed in with the ice. Neat colors though! Cheers!

Yes, there is beauty all around if we look for it. I really like the colors, they look like a bird painted on the ice.

I am glad that our ice and snow is gone (for now), but I can still appreciate the beauty that you have captured in your ice shots.

The ABCW team had this passing conversation about awards. I'm not sure it's such a good idea; you'd win almost every week with pictures, esp the one on the top.

I really like the first image. Looks like a little oil and frozen water? Nice ice post.

The angle of the light in the first one really makes for interesting color and texture. All grea shots!

I know Norway is cold, but I didn't know that ice has colour. Thanks.

Such a lovely poetic post.
A good philosophy of life, to be on the lookout for beauty.

The colored ice is fantastic. Does it come from gasoline or what?!
