Lekkert utsnitt!

Anne said...

Wow! A croc! And so detailed! Marvellous! I have been in Australia 8 times and only seen one croc, but my daughter always panics when we are in a croc area. She doesn't want the dogs swim in croc water. The crocs in Queensland are saltwater crocodiles.
Thanks for your visit to my Guernsey! There's more to come: this week Guernsey benches and next week the house of Victor Hugo in Guernsey.

Oh my goodness that is too close ^_^

An incredible photo! The first view of that eye gave me chills which didn't abate even after scrolling past the teeth. Wow!

Great guy -- glad it's not a gal. Ü Good grief! Don't ge too close. . .

lynnwiles said...

Totally unexpected & equally wonderful. Do you have a lot of alligators in Bergen?

Stan Ski said...

Now that's a close-up shot I'd never be able to take.

ohhhhhh!!!!!
be careful. great capture

Grace and Bradley said...

How incredibly sharp and vivid in color. I hope you had a long telephoto lens, not something that I want to be too close with.

ChrisJ said...

Staggering. That must be a prizewinning shot, Rune. After I got over the amazing quality, my next thought was how much I like the colors. You do have some gold in there too -- in the eye. I've decided that colors are much more important to me than I ever thought. It seems they grab my attention in almost everything I see. This photo is truly a keeper.

You get the award for use of most G's and that guy is imposing! Great capture.

Ah, but Rune, I don't live in Seattle. But I presume, then that your friend here was in a zoo. Was it on a visit to Seattle? or one more local to you?

I frequently visit the blog Kayak Paddle Tales. The blogger's bird photos are outstanding, but on her paddles through rivers in Florida, she encounters this guy's cousins as well. Not for me, even though she does not photograph them from 57 cm.

Looks quite a bit like the baby alligator purse my uncle brought back from Cairo in 1955. To think we're part of their food chain.
