Fabulous photo of a phantom ship. I guess the black and white has the better mood or feeling, but I do like the gold on the color shot.

Dina said...

Awesome and then some!!!

Both are like a page from an old mythology book.

Interesting take on your subject but I like your snow posts better. . . Ü

That is AMAZING! I aways know there will be something good to see when I come here but this is spectacular. Already I see this is going to be a specially good monochrome weekend.

THis is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen! It looks like an oil painting! We always praise the artist if his paintings look real but this is the other way round - it looks like a painting done up in oil - the color one has the loveliest shades of color. Wow!

Gerald (Hyde DP) said...

wow - very Turner-esque - on the coloured version I like the glow of the rising sun.

Veldig bra :)

God helg RuneE :)

Irene said...

Wooow!

Gold Helg!

WOW!!!! Stunning! I'm speechless...no words can make a decent comment about this fabulous picture. You're a king among foto makers.

John said...

Great atmospheric shot, makes me think of Eric Ambler novels.

Absolutely amazing, no doubt. It seems to have life and movement. Excellent!!!

En dramatisk och spännande bild!!

Oh, my gosh, for et flott bilde!!

Pakk dere godt inn, der over fjellet! Vi har kravlet under pleddet i dag :)

Rune, I can only say that this is beyond beautiful. Love it.

Hans HB said...

This is a very good picture in monochrome, I guess a winner...

awarewriter said...

Truly outstanding. The light on the right is the finishing touch that takes this image over the top.

GAWO said...

Aldeles nydelig.
Nesten litt for kaldt. Men jeg foretrekker kulde før regn.

I'm thinking this shot would make a fantastic cover for a book -perhaps a mystery, or a ghost story or one about someone who's life has been or is becoming a bit foggy. Whatever the area, I just think it would make for an awesome and enticing book cover!

Fantastiskt foto!!!

Cold and mysterious! I like this!

BTW, I cropped the bovine in this morning's post and uploaded it to appear below the first photo. They still look thoughtful but with no dirty knees.

Whahey, thats a wonderful capture - my friend.

-15?! oh, well, but it makes such great phots. I must say that this time I like better the color photo, the interplay of colurs and nuances in the light is amazing! well done!

Rune (Bildebloggen) said...

Knall!

Ida said...

Fantastisk fint!!!
Et vinnerbilde! :)

Sistertex said...

RuneE you never dissapoint! Wow this is just a beautiful photo. They just don't get better than this.

Have you considered creating a book with your photos? Perhaps you already have. I really love this, it ia mystical.

Breathtaking. I LOVE the way the boat is just appearing out of the fog!

-15? Good on you. I'd be curled up in bed afraid to leave, not out there with a camera.

Dragonstar said...

That is so beautiful - mysterious, delicate, and haunting.
I had a look at the colour version, too. Magnificent! What a difference in feel between the two treatments!
How do you choose between two such perfect pictures?

Pam said...

Fantastic! Love the coloured one a teensy bit more, both fabulous however.

amatamari© said...

An exceptional shot:absolutely fascinating monochrome, very intense color pictures!
Thanks for sharing!

Dimple said...

The monochrome is mysterious and a little scary. The color is hopeful: the light is here, it will not leave forever, take heart!
Each is beautiful in its own way, but I prefer the color!

Wow, 61 comments! See? Your freezing weather is worth something!

Med sola like bak og gjenskinnet i vannet! Veeeldig vakkert!! :)
