I really like this shot - at first I thought he was out in the wilds somewhere, but then I noticed the headphones and caption :)

All he needs is a flask with a shot of whiskey in it.

Black and white pictures capture the soul of winter, often a nearly colorless time of the year. Thanks again, for a monochrome day brightener!

God lørdag!

I guess some people just have to have music wherever they go.

It made me cring - the thought of sitting out in the open with music piped into one's brain.

Then, I thought - maybe it solves the problem of men not liking to wear ear-muffs.

Brrrr....looking at the breath of your subject...must be really
((( cold)))) I enjoy all your photos!

I love the way you caught his breath in this shot. That amazed me.

I love seeing that frosty exhale. It let's you know it's really cold!

The warmth of the sun against that snowbank must feel mighty good. You captured even his breath so perfectly. Awesome photo of enjoying life in the cold climates of our world.

What a great natural moment captured as well as the contrast (he looks warm to me inside that jacket)! Aloha, Regina-

It looks so cold! The triangle of foregound white, and the man's breath make this photo perfect.

Burr så kallt det är. Kankse musiken i hans öron håller honom varm. I alla fall värmer hörlurarana öronen ;-) Ett ögonblick som du fångat fint.

Wonderful shot!

He looks to be completely absorbed in his music and his walk. Looks damn cold too. I like the diagonal composition. Nice work.

Have you been following me. I do actually wander around like this oblivious to everything withe camera and ipod. Lovely observed image.

I hope the music kept him warm. It looks a lot like that here too.

Three of my favorite things. I love the simplicity of this shot.

A perfect combination. He doesn't seems to mind the sub-zero temperature,i bet it's one hot music he's listening to.

Hope him not to be listening to "Coldplay". =)=)What a good ability you have Rune, for making an everyday instant to look great. Wish you a nice weekend.

Flott fanget Rune. Ser at det er tatt på en kald dag.

AVCr8teur said...

You can see the coldness coming from his breath. I wonder what he is listening to.

Starnitesky said...

Really good depth of field, well captured.

Nice range of values and the angles make a peaceful shot more dynamic. It dopes look cold though...

Ida said...

I woder why he has to have music with him, why he can't enjoy the peace nature affords. l-) Yep, I must be getting old and cranky!

Dere har såååå mye snø?!! Artig bilde! :)
