Street reportage. Seems desolate - purely subjective.

He he, takk Rune for en lysterlig start på dagen!!!! *smask*

Spiderdama said...

Hehe. Så litt forkommen ut.. fint bilde:-)
Ha en god dag!

Dina said...

The dog looks alert (one ear, at least) to your welcome attention.

Dagrun said...

the picture is great but is breaking my heart. I don't like to see dogs like that. I'm always afraid they are abandonned.

Paulie said...

Hopefully it is just waiting for its master who is inside the shop at the sale.

Hehe... Daaakkar... :) Morsomt bilde.

How much?

Rune, you pull at my heart strings.

Great capture of the mood and emotion. Poor little fellow looks lonely for attention. I hope you gave him a pat on the head and a scratch under the chin for all of us.

One of the great and fun things about photography is the ability to stear people by using composition, angles, perspective etc. Nicely done Rune.

Rune (Bildebloggen) said...

Tulsa Gentleman said...

He looks ready to follow you home. Hopefully his master is inside.

The poor little dog looks lonely on the monochromatic, deserted street.

Your eye caught another good one. Works especially well in B&W.

I hate it when dog owners leave their dogs outside while they go inside a store. This collie looks sensible though not to panic in a fit of frenzied barking. Nice black and white photo, RuneE.

Aww, the poor dog does not look happy.

What a well behaved dog!

SquirrelQueen said...

What a sweet looking dog, and well behaved as well. I do hope he was not left alone for long. Great shot.

Robin said...

Poor sweetie, he looks so cold and lonely out there. I hope he didn't have to wait long for his owner to return.

Ann said...

The B&W of the dog matches the B & W of the photo.

Did the terrible news of neighbours slaughtering 30 dogs in New Zealand make it to Norway?

Gallow said...

Excellend Capture. Is it your Dog?

Carolyn Ford said...

I so hope this dog wasn't abandoned. I don't know if I should be sad or just enjoy the photo...beautiful capture for sure, though!

Stakkars liten!!

Anne-Berit said...

Fint i s/hv.

Nice composition because it conveys a feeling of sadness and abandonment! I hope someone claimed the dog and brought it to a good home.

raf said...

Well captured, Rune. Black and white, composition and subject make a remarkable photo.

Verkar lite billigt. Men fin är han. Och bilden är bra.

I will join the crowd and say: oh, poor thing! but I hope he got some nice bones afterwards, for its patience :)!

I like the way you've done this. I would be a much different picture in colou - or with different framing.

Hi Rune! Poor dog...

Blogtrotter 2 is cruising with the Liberty of the Seas. Hope to read you there. Enjoy it and have a great weekend!!

Now I hope that the dog's master returned. My dog was always fastened to a bicycle stand in front of the supermarket where I went shopping. As soon as I went into the shop, he started barking and stopped when I returned.
Great photo Rune! My bench is up!
