Benches in the winter

The benches in Bergen have put their winter clothes on - positively knee deep in snow. And this was on New Years Eve...

The two girls, Malyss and Paulie, who inspired my own interest in benches are also very fond of snow. So what else can I do but to dedicate this post to them?

I'm also very fond of snow. These are outstanding. I especially like the detail of the snow in the top photo.

Would you mind telling me what lenes and filters that you use? I love the details in your photos as well as your great composition.

How kind! Thanks! YES, I do love snow and am afraid you are getting ours this year. It has only snowed once here this winter. sigh I would like to say I love the benches but for all the snow I have to take your word for it that they are under there! Ü

I took pictues last week for Paulie of some of the benches we passed hiking last summer. Well, I think they were under the six feet of snow there. Lovely, benches Rune.

Check the spelling in your title.

Thank you for those fabulous pictures.
Benches have to be waterproof in your part of the world!

Well piled with snow these.

You do like your benches don't you. Unusually we have had almost as much snow as that here in the south of the UK.

I'm so sorry Rune that I clamoured to see snow because now I shiver when I see these photographs. Are you sure the benches won't break under the weight of all that snow? :(

WOW, nicely covered Benches my friend.

Er ikke mange benkene å sitte på nå om dagen, de er opptatt av snøen. :) Men det har jo sin sjarm, og fine objekter å fotografere er dem også.

I see that no one is welcomed to be seated on those benches, all the beauty would be spoiled! :-) Real moody photographs, Runee

That must be quite cosy and comfortable. :)

Maybe the snow was tired from all the falling and just needed to sit down for a while.

Narurens eget glitterdryss har lagt over det hele...
Vakkert!
Glansen vises godt i bildene dine.
Flott! :)

Flotte vinter bilder.
Blir det en benkepost i morgen også eller er det denne som gjelder :)

Nydelig benk i vinterlandskap, det til og med glitrer i krystaller på snøen som ligger på benken :) Jeg får komme med noen benkeinnslag jeg også, snart.. :)

Brrrrrrrrrrr! Just listening to how Norway is much better with the cold weather than us Brits! Advice on what to wear?

When we were in Bergen in May, the benches were far more inviting! Still, I love your photo!
Thank you for your visit to my sky! The last sentence of the chanson is different indeed if you compare it to what he sings.
The sentence I wrote under the sky watch photos, is a construction of myself, trying to be poetical, even if I am not very successful at that.;).Have a great weekend!

Ont om plats här ;) Vackra bilder blir det. Jag fryser mest och drömmer om sommaren så min bänk har inte snö......
