From yesterday's stroll.

(Southern girl speaking): how do you know if there's a road, a stairs or a..hole under the snow where you walk?..!
Well, I don't really want to know. Dreaming is enough for me! Ü

Beautiful to see, but I understand that it causes a lot of trouble in traffic. It's good that many people could do their work at home. My daughter didn't go to her work and did her work on the computer at home. She is a technical draughtswoman. Our snow disappeared a few days ago.
It rains again.
I wish you a very happy and healthy New Year with your family and friends.

Really every day I check your blog to gawk at the snow. It may be very cold in Norway but it looks so inviting from where I stay.

The sun got stuck in the bridge again!
I would love to stroll in snow like that.

That bridge again; I don't mind if you guys keep the snow over there.

Hi Rune! Lovely, but I think I would prefer it without the snow... ;)

Blogtrotter has reached the January 2009 trips! Not bad; just one year delay... ;)
Enjoy, comment and enter 2010 in great shape! Wish you all the best for the New Year!!!

Your landscape looks like our landscape. Lovely to look at, but delightful to avoid at all costs!

Visual delight.

Anne said...

Too much snow!!!
Is the sun always so low this time of the year that you can get it perfectly aligned with the bridge opening?

looks a bit like our scenery a week ago when we had the 24-30 inches of snow depending on what part of town you live in.

More snow. It has snowed here all day--not a blizzard, and it didn't add up too much, but snow none the less.
Hope you have a happy new year!

Looks so cold. Brrrrrr! I really like the capture of the sun near the bridge. Makes your eye go right to it.

Beautiful shots of your town in these past few posts! Good boots and a steady step needed for your stroll. Best wishes for 2010!

If you are well wrapped up snow like this is not bad for walking through - it is the thin stuff that is lethal. Happy New Year.

I wish I had a hill from which to take a photo of the snow on the roofs here! I LOVE your photo!!!!! The bridge is nice also . . . but did I tell you how much I love snow?
