It does look a little rusty. And isn't it odd that after all these years there is still a thing called, "Rust."

About the circles in the picture...
I think there is something in Photoshop. I have the newest edition which is version 4. The photo looked normal until it opened in that. I suspect there is a "default" setting that didn't like the picture.

Wonderful contrast of the green and growing ivy against the rusty object! Is it a grill of some sort?

Looks like the ivy claimed the cement mixer.

Bra! Du er en utrolig dyktig fotograf. Her sitter alt perfekt: motiv, dybde, farger og ikke minst stemningen - kan filosofere mye over dette bildet!

I'm not sure why but I really enjoy looking at and taking pictures of this sort of thing.
I like it a lot.

Er det eieren som har oppgitt ånden....?

It reminds me of my visit to the Treadwell Mine near Juneau, Alaska, with a photo hike two years ago. Lots of examples there of nature reclaiming what man had abandoned.

Nature is so beautiful and Rune, you show this in your brill shot, old rust and a growing plant - living together.

Beautiful. Silence against noise! really hate the noise of those cement mixers. That one is shut... Hopefully forever!

Så stilig! Naturen har sine veier du! Minner meg på et bilde jeg har....må se å rote det frem!

I think the ivy transforms the old forgotten machine into something more beautiful! It also acts as a foil for the colour of the leaves. Lovely!

I am curious to know what that wonderful metal object is. I like the autumn leaves color of the distressed metal with the still bright green ivy growing through it.

That's a very unique photo! I like it!

Nature actually leaves a wonderful color behind. Most people would be annoyed, but photographers love it.

Great shot.... This brings a smile to my face....

I've loaded such a mixer in the past... and no matter how often I did it never got any eazier... ha! I never thought the day would come when I would see beauty in the beat and battered metal of a mixer.
At the end of the day when cleaning it out, we would throw a few half bricks into the mixer... they would turn and fall over and over again helping to dislodge the cement.... then a few heavy whacks on the bucket with my shovel would help as well. Over the years this bumping and banging would leave just such a patina as this.

The dead and the living. But only nature has the ability to renew itself. I like the ideas together as well as the two colors

Her har naturen dekorert blandemaskinen fint. Bra sett og fanget :)

Well, I see the few leaves that turned autumn colors! Neat comparison of the rust and leaves.
