Evening at Toftøy

James at Newtown Area Photo has started a meme called Weekend Reflections that is very promising. Post a reflection during the week-end and give him a notice - and you're on.

My contribution is from a small island called Toftøy, close to the North Sea.

How very beautiful and tranquil. I like the light reflected up onto the buildings too.

That is absolutely gorgeous Rune.
I actually started using MckLinky this week. :)
Thank you for sharing this outstanding photo.

I have a bench that I plan to post next week on my other blog. It looks old, unusual and I think it's a bench but I'm not sure.

Oh so lovely!
What IS it about reflections in water that is so calming and poetic?

So calm and picturesque!

Thanks for the advice about James' meme. I sent in a reflection in a bus window. Unfortunately Jerusalem has no bodies of water in which to look for reflections.

Maybe my glass of white wine could be part of that meme?

For et aldeles nydelig bilde! Blir glad av å se på det. Vakkert lys og nydelig vannspeil! Lyset som avspeiler seg i båtene og på veggen....dette var fint!

The reflection is great BUT I mostly had my heart captured by the boats tied up to use right outside the doors of the homes.
