great shot - the man's stance suggests bad news. All in my mind.

Noen har det trevelt med å snakke da :-) det sies at inget annet land i verden har så masse mobiler i omløp enn i Norge??? ennå så stille et forkeferd vi anses for å være..., ja ja, ikke bergensere kanskje...

It seems that this malady, the hand stuck to the ear, is becoming quite prevalent around the globe. Perhaps there is no cure.

Ha, you found the perfect words for a great shot.

Ah, the ubiquitous cellphone. Otherwise, very peaceful and quiet.

It looks like a very quiet afternoon, and maybe not so warm.

I agree with Aileni, this fellow doesn't seem to be in good spirits.
Wonderful shot.

That's an interesting shot and I like the title too.

Den mannen gir en følelse av oppgitthet. Kanskje snakker han for mye i telefonen!??

Flott bilde!

Very Sci Fi- the last human kind of shot. Eerie feeling to thus one.

The monument looks rather like a mobile phone - it's the shape I think. What a quiet time in Bergen,

Like this shot Rune, esp in B/W.

Keep it like that for Thursday please.lol.

Dette var kanonbra!

Så uendelig mange linjer og mønster + Bergenseren (tror vi) i telefonen, som selvsagt er prikken over I-en.

I don't think he has won the lottery, do you...lol

Loads of stone, great shot....

Love the interesting contrast of verticals in this shot! Thin tree shapes, tall buildings, arty sculpture and the hunched man all drawn to that huge block!

Everything looks nice in and about this photo. The person looks almost like sculpture.

Very nice shot. Is that guy on a cell phone? Cuz that would be weird ;).

Nice shot

Yes, quite afternoon.. Maybe a little too much quite.. The statue (?) looks like a kind of Big Brother observing the man on the phone; The B&W gives a strange mood, the mineral place, too.
I can't help thinking about the movie "the survivor", with Charlton Heston.."Is there anyone out there? Speak to me!..."(Ü, sorry, running imagination!)

Her har du mange nydelige bilder. Har scrollet nedover. Jeg falt særlig for "Bench of the week"!! Takk for din kommentar i bloggen min! :)

Very interesting photo. The man makes the photo even more interesting.

Noen burde hatt telefonen limt fats i øret. Den er der mer enn andre steder. Noen mener sikkert at jeg burde hatt tastaturet skrudd fast i fingrene... det kommer an på øyet som ser.
Artig bilde du hadde tatt.
Har et måkebilde i dag, jeg:)

Hi RuneE, Wonderful shot. It looks like a lonely unread book on the slab, while the man is too involved in his little phone to see all of the interesting shapes going on without his participation

Quiet square with a man engrossed in his conversation.

A very quiet shot. I don't like mobile phones!

I guess that man must have had a bad day at work and is nursing a migraine!
Nice one in mono :)

this monochrome shot has turned out a little dreary - it looks like an old and dull atmosphere!

ps: swine flu is a problem for greek people - only tourists bring it into the country (or greek people who travelled out of the country and came back), and the only greeks who have developed it in their own country work in the tourist trade. my husband is a taxi driver, and he picks up tourists all the time (as you can imagine, i am a little worried)

Definitely an imagination starter.
