How not to take pictures of birds - or how to take Odd Shots

I once had an ambition about becoming a bird photographer.

Takk for en god latter!

How much from us can tell that we could catch a bird playing hide-and-seek?...Till now, you're the only one I know! So don't be so hard with yourself..Ü

Yeah, I second Malyss, don't be so hard on yourself!
(You should see the pics I take, hahaha).

BTW, what I liked most of this post: Your sense of humour ;D Great!

Mistakes are always correctable, RuneE. You have such an outsatnding collection of photographs on your blogs that one photo like this provides a glimpse into the lessons of photography. Timing is everything, as in all areas of life.

hehehehe I love it! I have never managed to catch a bird hiding from me behind a pole. . . they usually hide in the trees!

Pene merker etter stolpesko. Antar de ikke er fra måsen...

It looks like you got the part that keeps them flying.

This is a very nice post on Memorial Day. Sadly, it no longer honors all the dead but shifts the emphasis on veterans. I served during the Korean War but I still think our old "Decoration Day" was more meaningful and I wrote about it.

My look back to the good old days on Decoration Day

You couldn't get that shot if you tried, could you? I have just posted my bench photo on my blog, but you have to look at some silk papers before you come to it.

I have taken quite a few photos of where a bird has just been, but this one tops them all.

Hi Rune, This made me laugh and once again realize why I don't photograph too many moving objects.

Proof that birds are often the real ones in charge, Rune! Surprisingly, though, this one turned out well as there's a hint of intrigue. ;-)

Hahahahaha :)

I love the shot and your realization about bird photography. They just will not stop flying.

Fun - and so typical.

LOL Can you not clone out that bird as it's distracting form the wonderful image of the pole. :-)
