Mini-daffodil in Today's Flowers

The daffodils don't bloom quite of themselves just yet around here, but I found this mini-version on public display in Bergen yesterday.

PS The Today's flowers meme is hosted by LUIZ SANTILLI JR. . Please visit and enjoy.

Rune! What a great macro of a mini! Thanks for your visit! I am a little bit dishonest: my flowers are all from last year, apart from a few new additions like the snowdrops.

Mangler motiver? Neeeeei, det går sikkert over snart.

Må visst kikke bak i hagen.

Nice shot. Daffodils always seem to brighten up my day. We still have a week or so before the early ones start blooming around here.

Love it, Rune. I have a mini-daffodil plant on my kitchen table right now. Otherwise they aren't blooming here either. ;-)

I like the bowed head. An unusual angle for a daffodil, makes a a nice change and it is so rich in colour.

Lovely photo of a lovely flower!! My daffs are about 2 inches high now, so I am cheered to see anyone else's. They will come along; we are simply impatient.

Nothing like a hint of spring to brighten one's day!

There's nice girls nearly everywhere, the catch is figuring out where to find them.

Come visit again soon!

I did notice about two weeks ago now that the daffodils and crocus plants were poking through the ground in the flower bed in front of my house. Then it snowed again and I haven't paid any attention lately to see if they have made much growth after that snowfall.
I love seeing those flowers when they begin to poke through -such a good sign that spring is at least, just around the corner then.
