What a difference a day makes

The weather is never dull in this part of the world. What is covered in fog one day may be drenched in sun the next. When one makes more or less the same stroll (nearly) every day one gets to appreciate these changes. What yesterday might have passed for a world in black and white and slightly out of focus, was today nice and sharp. Here are some examples taken one day apart at three different locations on my way.

The pictures were taken with my small Panasonic compact which I always carry. It can't produce RAW-files, so the pictures are based on JPEG in Standard mode as set by the Panasonic engineers. I have just done some small cropping and sharpening etc. Photoshop had intentionally a light job here.

Hun kunne fortelle at hun likte kontrastene her.

Just looking at the fog allows me to feel the humidity creeping through the monitor. It feels cold, RuneE. Wonderful photos.

Good idea to compare! at least, you never know monotony there...

Yep, you really have the best of both worlds, if you want to say that... I would, as here it can be dull dull dull.
Once fog hits, it can stay for days...
Great post...

It is an interesting comparison-- I just wish I could see the rest of the photoson the right insteadof one inch of them.

We had a beautiful day yesterday with those blue skies.

I see your snow is still with you and I am envious BUT I did find some wildflowers blooming yesterday on my hike over the I-205 bridge.Come and see them.

These look like 2 different places. I prefer the sunshine.

Regarding your comment on the amusement park make-up. I must be dull too since I have never had my face painted.

Oh! So interesting. Now I know what to expect in May -- not snow, but 'change-ability'. Having grown up just across the North Sea from you (and a little bit south) I know all about that. I do like you photos and such a creative idea.
