This the most beautiful oddest shot I've seen today! We need those things more often than not!
Most odd is that it is not in use in western part of Norway. Must be the heavy wind, or a "sunnmøring" that is saving its use for better weather.
Poor brolly. We too hardly use them here because it's too windy. Love the shot I like a bold red in an image.
I can send you some rain today we have gone from sub-zero to a stormy rainy cycle of weather !!
I like this shot very much, quirky and fun, and the composition is spot on, the umbrella adds a great "splash" of colour excuse the pun !!!

a frozen umbrella is unlikely to be ever of much use for its purpose again - ideal as a photographer's prop though.
I have several unbrellas. They are always handy in some spot other than where I am when the rain starts.
