Reflection on a University building

This is the new Service Building for the students at the University of Bergen (my old Alma Mater). It was opened last year and serves among others one of my children. The building it replaced was erected while I was a student. Either I am getting old, or the quality of the building process is not what it once was. Or both.

That is a nice shot. I like the distortions in the glass.

Hello,

I've linked to your website, http://visualnorway.blogspot.com, from my website, http://www.norwayeurope.com/?page_id=16

I would welcome a link on your site to one of my sites (either http://www.norwayeurope.com OR http://www.traveldeals.nu). There is, however, no pressure to do so.

Thank you!

Yep, the reflection is awesome. I love the "liquid" look in the glass... that's quite unique!

Nice reflection! I like the juxtaposition of the two exteriors and the single interior that can be seen through the windows.

Wonderful image. Old reflected in the new. Classic and modern. Pretty and pretty ugly. ;-) (Never been a fan of modern architecture - give me a 200 year old building any day!)

Great catch -- I like th differences it brought together. I have managed to restore an older computer so now I have a new blog post up. Hope you will stop by. I know you don't like to click on photos to enlarge but if you do for the last one, you will like the view. I am so glad I won't miss Bridges between Monday.

Kjempefint gjenskinn i rutene fra huset tvers over gaten.

The only view that the old building has of itself is that strange reflection . Maybe it is wondering like you, if the problem comes from its age or from the building quality process...Ü

(old)? Nar - Wiser - Yes.

Great capture and what a beauty of a reflection.

Thanks! DSC_4719 was actually hand-held shot, and a shutter speed of 1/15 is typical for me as many of my photos are taken in public using only available light. The "toy animal" is actually an oven mitt designed to look like a cow.
