Peace by the water

Living where we do we have to make the most of the low sun in the winter. We also have to make the most of the days that are like this. No snow, but a nip of frost in the air, and most of the boats are laid up for the season. But not all...

A peaceful shot indeed! Beautiful blue in that sky and reflected in the water too. Enjoy your frosty days too and keep sharing Norway with those of us that enjoy learning about it.

Stunning, Rune. It looks like an oil painting.

I don't know how you did it, but looking at the picture we can FEEL the cold air, and breath the light frozen wind ....

So beautiful... I love how the light glistens off the boats, it's the perfect angle!

Vakkert.
Nydelige farger,

Because of the low sun, you will have perfect dawn/dusk shots? This one is just lovely. I would love to wake up every morning to this calming effect.

I'm constantly amazed at how much warmer it s where you are than here just north of Toronto. This is a beautiful shot!

A vision of tranquility. Wouldn't that make for a beautiful picture, framed, hanging in someone's house? I can envision it above my mantle -looking perfect there!

This makes me want to skip a stone across the top to watch the ripples. It's like I'm right there. Great shot!

Wonderful reflection on the water. The sun provides just the right angle of light.
