I have been roasted!!

I am at the moment slowly roasting for the upcoming Sunday dinner. No, seriously - the well-known Australian blogging guru David McMahon has chosen me to be the subject for this Sunday' s feature on his "Authorblog".

I feel it is an honour, since I don't look upon my blogs as anything special at all. But it is nice to get noticed. I'm only human...

To finish the post, I'll show you a picture which I feel is fairly typical of my photography. It was taken this morning at about 11.00 with the wind at about 20m/s (about 39 knots) - and increasing. It shows a fjord, a bridge and a fishing vessel.

BTW - the picture of myself was taken in Greece by one of my daughters.

Have a nice week-end! I know I'm going to, now...

Hi Rune,

It's 6am Sunday here in Melbourne and I just saw the comment about the links in the Sunday Roast not working.

They've now been fixed. My profound apologies for the oversight.

Judging by the comments, especially from Anemone, you are the Santa Claus of the blogging world.

I'm so glad I found your blog while sitting in a little cyber cafe in Singapore in mid-December 2007.....

I prefer roasted duck at Dinner in Oslo, but congratulation.

Hvem andre enn deg fortjener dette. Gratulerer. Du har en blogg som er krydret med spennende bilder og du strør om deg med positive kommentarer. Alle de "down under" kan godt få se hvor vakkert det er i Norge og rundt Sotra. :-). Ja hele verden kan stikke innom til deg.

I saw, read and commented to David on your "roast" which was very interesting, to say the least. I follow your blog, love your photography but rarely do I comment -mostly because I am really terrible with photography, just do the real bare bones pics of the kids and grandkids to remember events, etc. And your posts -well, they are so magnificent -the bridges, the mountains, water, the beauty -I am generally in awe and spellbound by the sights you present. Please -don't ever stop taking those pictures! I'll keep following, for sure, but still will probably be unable to say anything intelligent about your works.

Congratulations! You deserve this honor. I will get right over there to read about you being honored by David. Nice to see who you are too! Your daughter took a great photo -- you taught her well! AND the photo you took is just one example of why I keep returning to your blog. Well done, my faraway friend!

Gratulerer! Dette var vel fortjent.
