Headless activity in Odd Shot

Taking pictures of birds has never been easy. On top of a pole one moment - (partially) gone the next.

PS If anyone should doubt the authenticity of the photo, I have a 12.5 MB RAW-file to prove it.

Please visit Katney's Kaboodle for more about Odd shots!

Herlig å se at det var ei kråke for en gangs skyld.

all the people who like taking photos learn quickly that birds don't like paparazzi! Ü

That's odd, yes, brilliant, absolutely.

It happens to me all the time. WIth hawks who fly in and out of my backyard I seldom have time to get the camera up so I have odd shots like this one too.I have two new blogs to show you:

heh. Too funny. At least you got part of him in the frame. Usually they are long gone by the time I take the photo.

That is funny! It happens to me all the time. I got two recently that were in a tree but they moved as I shot the photo and I got partial birds too.

Birds are the most terrible animals to take a photo of. I never can take the perfect picture. But I keep on trying !

Enig med arne:) Som regel pleier måsene å okkupere alle lysstolper. Syns bildet ble litt tøft med den fuglen som er på tur ut av bildet;)

That is such a typical bird-shot! Perfect lines and brilliant colour - but(nearly) no bird! Such fun.

I've also got kid and squirrel pictures with only partial results.

Elusive!

But I did have success a couple of weeks ago when taking pictures of the fooding--an eagle landed right in front of me.
